CYMA Training Classes

Thank you for your interest in CYMA training for Windows.  These classes, which are run jointly by Good Steward Computer Systems and Williams Consulting & Accounting, are taught by CPA's that are small business owners with over 40 years combined experience working with CYMA accounting software.  Our knowledge and expertise will greatly enhance your ability to use CYMA with your specific accounting needs.  We encourage you to fax us two questions on each class that relates to your particular business.  We will address these questions in a "brain-storming" atmosphere, which our previous students have found highly beneficial.

The CYMA training covers four days with a total of eight classes.  All of these provide "hands-on" experience as we have students complete exercises in class.  An intermediate level of mouse dexterity is required.  The morning classes are at 8:30 - 12:00, afternoon classes are 1:00 - 4:30.  You may register for whichever classes are applicable to your specific company requirements.  We STRONGLY recommend that you attend the "System Manager" course, which will cover items common to all applications.  You will need to bring a computer, or we will provide one for a nominal daily rental charge.

Classes will range between 4 and 10 students.  A minimum of 4 persons is required for each class.  If at least 4 students are not registered for a specific course 10 working days prior to the beginning classes, the course will be cancelled and all money refunded.

Refunds will be made in full if cancellations are made 10 or more business days prior to the first day of classes.  No refunds will be made for cancellations after that time period.

Lunch is on your own. Snacks and drinks will be provided during class.

Dress is casual.

Please note-- if you bring your own computer, we recommend the following requirements:
PC Operating at 1.6 GHZ
Internet Explorer 7
Windows Vista or Windows 7 - Professional or Ultimate
Windows XP - Home/Pro - SP2 or higher
Java Runtime Environment
RAM - 1 GB
Hard Drive - 500MB Free Space
CD-ROM Drive - 4x or faster
Video Card capable of displaying 1024 x 768

Computer rental costs $25/class.
If you are bringing your own computer and do not attend the first class (System Manager), make sure the current version of CYMA along with Pervasive 1.0 workgroup is loaded and working.  In addition, make sure you have office 2000 or higher installed and working.

Classes will be conducted at the following hotel:
